What is the Blend Board?
The Blend Board is a professional hair extension coloring tool designed to create better blends, improved saturation, and a more efficient off-the-head coloring process. It’s designed for stylists who want control, consistency, and a cleaner workflow.
How is The Blend Board made?
The Blend Board is designed and hand-assembled by our husband-and-wife team. Each board is built to order in small batches and individually quality-checked before shipping
What does built to order mean?
Built to order means your board is made specifically for you after your order is placed. We don’t mass produce or keep large inventory on hand, which allows us to maintain quality and consistency.
How often do you release new boards?
We release the Blend Board in limited drops every two weeks. Quantities are intentionally limited based on production capacity.
How many boards are available per drop?
Each drop includes a set number of boards. Availability is announced ahead of time, and once a drop sells out, the next release will be shared.
What's the best way to be notified when drops are live?
The best way to stay in the loop is by joining our email list. We send an email notification the moment a drop opens.
We’ll also share announcements on Instagram @theblendboard, but email subscribers always get the first heads up.
Will the Blend Board sell out?
Drops often sell quickly due to limited quantities. If a drop sells out, don’t panic — another one will be coming soon.
What is the current turnaround time?
Current processing time is 4–6 weeks from the date of purchase.
This timeframe acts as a buffer to account for production flow and potential supply delays. Many orders ship sooner, and we love when we’re able to surprise customers with early shipping.
Why is the turnaround 4–6 weeks if drops are every two weeks?
Multiple drops are often in production at the same time. The 4–6 week turnaround allows us to ship orders early whenever possible while ensuring quality and avoiding delays if supplies run behind.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Because each board is built to order, orders cannot be modified or canceled once production has begun. If you need assistance, please reach out as soon as possible and we’ll do our best to help.
How will I know when my order ships?
Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with tracking information. Please allow time for tracking to update once the carrier has the package.
Where do you ship?
At this time, we ship within North America (United States & Canada).
As a small, family-run business, we’re focusing on a smooth and reliable launch while we scale production. Shipping beyond North America is absolutely on our radar and will be available in the future.
Will Canadian orders be charged customs fees?
Canadian orders may be subject to duties, taxes, or import fees determined by Canada Customs. These charges are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.
Will international shipping expand later?
Yes. As we continue to grow and refine our fulfillment process, we plan to expand shipping to additional countries. All updates will be announced via email and on social media.
Are orders eligible for returns?
Due to the nature of small-batch, built-to-order production, all sales are final unless there is a defect or issue upon arrival. If you experience any problems with your order, please contact us and we’ll make it right.
